About Us
Founded in 2001 and based in the heart of the Midwest, Tandem Theatre and Dance Company is the non profit parent organization for Hurley & Dancers and the Choate Theatre Company. Core members of Hurley & Dancers are: Artistic Director Kathleen Hurley, Director/Actress Patricia Choate, David Decker, Emily Haines, Carla Hughes Olson, and Paula McArthur who present a range of modern dance works with the intent to inspire an on-going collaboration between professional dance, theatre, music and visual artists. Through residency work and their collaborative performances, Hurley & Dancers share with their audiences the exciting synergy of dance and the complimentary arts.
